Patients hospitalized with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) are often diagnosed with acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS). “Proning,” defined as moving a patient from lying on the back to lying face down, has been identified as a therapy that can help increase the likelihood of survival in patients with COVID-19. This therapy improves blood oxygenation and survival rates in patients with COVID-19 but is not often performed due to the difficulty of the procedure. This study examined various proning methods for patients with COVID-19 in the intensive care unit (ICU).
